How your agent code works

Your agency code is attached to your login. Once you are signed in to the portal, every booking you make is automatically commissioned to you, and you never enter a code at checkout. Booking by phone or email instead? Give us your agency reference and we attach it to the Xola booking on our side. New partner? Request access and we will set up your agent login.

What to tell your client

01 · Commission

20% on every booking

ABA's standard travel-agent commission is 20%. Concierge and custom bookings are attributed by your agency reference on the Xola booking instead of by login. The figure in the "Your 20%" column of every rate card above is what you earn on that band.

02 · Deposits and balance

Set per trip, shown on each card

Most trips take a 50% deposit at booking, with the balance due 2 to 4 days before departure.
The helicopter glacier tour is different: a 25% logistics fee, non-refundable, at booking, with 100% and accurate guest information due 7 days prior.
Each trip card above states its own deposit and balance window. Those are the numbers Xola enforces.

03 · Cancellation

Windows differ by trip

Helicopter and private jetboat: guest cancellation within 7 days is non-refundable. If weather prevents flying, the balance is refunded less the 25% logistics fee.
Most other trips: the deposit is refundable less a 5% booking fee until 4 days out. Inside that, payment is due and held as store credit unless cancelled inside 1 day.
Weather cancellations are called on NOAA warnings, advisories and extreme conditions, and are given as store credit.
The exact policy Xola holds for each trip is printed on that trip's card.

04 · Weight and capacity

Check this before you quote

Helicopter: 300 lb maximum per person. Guests over 250 lb incur additional flight fees.
Jetboat: 1,000 lb party safety cutoff.
Inaccurate weights may result in additional fees or a non-refundable cancellation.
These are aviation and marine safety limits, not preferences. Collect weights at the time of sale, not at check-in.

05 · Insurance and COI

Certificates come from our broker

ABA does not issue certificates of insurance itself. Send your COI or additional-insured request to the desk with your agency's legal name, address, and the wording you need, and we route it to our broker for issue. Please allow lead time; a COI is not same-day.

06 · What we need from you

At the time of booking

Agency name, and your agency reference or voucher number.
Full guest names, and accurate weights for helicopter and jetboat trips.
A phone number that reaches the guest in Alaska on the trip date.
Any mobility, medical, or experience notes that affect guiding.

How to read the rates. Prices are per party where a card says total for the party, and per head where it says per person. They step by party size, so a 4-guest booking is priced from the 4-guest band, not four times the 1-guest rate. Voucher formats and commission remittance are agreed per partner at onboarding. Ask the desk if you need them in writing before you sell.
